An oscar will be fine but no to the aro and the ckf. The reason I said that is because I sold all of the kit to him on Sunday.

lol that's why it looked so familiar :p I though Arowanas could be kept in a 125gallon minimum? Guess I was wrong :(

yeh nice tank if going for a fire eel make sure there are a bit more hiding spaces may look a lot better, shoal of clown loaches and maybe some geophagus they look pretty smart
i would not go for oscars too agressive

As cichlids go Oscars are actually relativly peacful, I had a niec 8" Tiger Oscar at one point in time and about 5 Convict cichlids, the convicts beat up on the Oscar, even when the weren't breeding! The tank as 100gallons, so plenty of hiding spots and territory room.

really people have always told me oscars are really aggressive so ive kept away from them for that reason
its nice to learn on the forum that mainly y we are all here

will definately have have some birchirs and an fire eel not sure what else tho we'll see how time goes :D

i've got another 2 huge pieces of bog wood for the tank but i need to soak them because the float atm :D

archer fish are brackish so that would limit your choice lol
aren't arowanas like proper expensive as well?
if you really fancy a fire eel, which i do too but some of us aren't blessed with a tank big enough  , you could get a few bichirs to go with it on the bottom.
a clown knife would also look awsome. or maybe a royal clown knife fish... if you can get your hands on one lol
anyway, good lookin tank and i hope you get it stocked how you want it soooooooon :shifty:

Why does the price of arowanas mean he cant have one??? Silver aros are like £40 anyways but he couldnt keep one in there. Clown knife will be far to big for that tank.

i will get a few birchirs and i did want an arow seen a small one for £80 at one my LFS but the tank ain't big enough.
