If you lost the honey gouramis it would be a perfect tank. What do you have for filteration on the tank?

1 or 2 female honey gouramis would be fine with 6 pygmy cories, or 3 endlers and 6 pygmy cories

Filtration is a huge thing on a tank, and it is true that clean water is going to promote healthy fish which are more active and happy. But what it comes down to in your situation is per size.

A 5 gallon tank is really just not that big for your current stocking list, even with the best filtration in the world and water changes all the time.

IMO endlers and corys would be fine but im not sure on the Gourami, they like planted tanks dont they? will you be doing that?
