50 Watt Heaters Wanted

If anyone has any spare 50 watt heaters that they would be prepared to sell than can you please get in touch. I need about 5 for my new tanks that I am setting up.

Don't they come with US plugs though and an adapter, you may have to fit UK plugs to them all.

As long as they work and are reliable then thumbs up.

They look really promising I must say, do they come with UK plugs on?? I'm guessing they don't come with US as it says no 110 VOLT which it is in the US.

Would this airpump be good enough to supply the manifold to give me air to 5/6 sponge filters???

Yes, the heater comes with a two pin plug and an adapter, but the voltage is 220-240, so it works for us. I find them very reliable – had one going for over a year without any trouble. The nice thing is that they are short, so fit into a nano tank easily.
I don't think that air pump would work for you as it only has two outlets. Spliting an outlet will half the 'suck' on each filter, which you don't want. Look on eBay for one with 4 or 6 outlets.

I have read on the ebay site that the guy says you have to supply your own adaptor but you are saying that it came with one to be able to use in the UK. Could you just clear that up for me before I part with my hard-earned!!!

Mine each came with an adapter, but even if it doesn't it's only a matter of changing the plug.

It does say the heaters are suitable up to 35 litre, the tanks I am getting have a theorectical volume of 44 litre so I hoping that these heaters will be OK as most 50 watt heaters I know will easily heat an 18" tank.

One of mine is managing to heat a 24 inch tank to 75 degrees .
