Hi all, I am in the process of breaking down my tank and setting it back up. In the past I have always used tap water treated with prime for fill, top up and water changes and havent really had poblems with live stock but did have poblems with BBA..
I plan to use 50/50 in the future for this set up. Is it a good idea. I normally would treat my tap water then let it sit in container with a heater and a small power head for a few hours before putting it in the tank.
Is it best to mix 50/50 in a container and treat both with prime then add or should I just treat the tap water part then mix and add. Or do I need to use something like Seachem equilibrium even though it is 50/50
I guess I should test my tap water first. I am based in London.
