5 Days, 5 Deaths

This reminds me of when my tank experienced a mass death approx 12 months ago. Fish dying for seemingly no reason, no symptoms, nothing wrong just dying. Then I realised i was poisoning the tank with flea poison which had come from a dog toy which was accidentally sitting in the filter. Luckily I got it sorted but eventually all fish exposed to that tank over that period died of weird things within a few weeks of each other.

Actually the Interpet meds are very good, their whitespot treatment is the best ive ever used (showed visable signs of working within 24 hours) their anti crustacean med (higher form paraisites) has the buggers dropping off in hours and the anti bacterial is the only one of its kind on the market. I always keep a bottle of each of these in my emergeny kit.

Totally agree with you CFC. The Anti White Spot meds is outstanding and the few cases that I've encountered over the past few years, were almost immediately taken care of when treated - with absolutely no fish loss whatsoever. I even dosed full dose with various cats etc. in the tank.
Similarly the anti parasite / crustatian meds worked with astounding results.

Best of luck Paul

Wolf, I hope everything is ok, that is so puzzling. You keep such lovely species. This is unfortunate, indeed. Best of luck with the meds.

ok got home today and no deaths that I can see :)
I will treat with interpet #9
just one question.
it states to remove any zeolite or carbon from the filter, but dosn't mention turning off UV filters. so I turn of my UV?
Well in my case not add my newly purchaed 8w uv filter untill treatment has finished.
