Just an update everynone.
4-5 out of 8 baby platie fish were hanging out at the top part of tank this evening.
so
i thought i would give feeding another go. i got 2 flakes. crushes them
up into pieces say the same size as my platies eyes. then put the in
the tank. 4-5 out of the 8 babies i have in there started eating the
food.
1) how many flakes would you feed them twice a day for 8 baby platies??/
2) if some of the flakes hit the sand, its practically imporssible for me
to get them all out, will i get a major spike in ammonia after a few
days of feeding?? im a little worried
Also, 2 of the fish are now hanging around the top part of the tank ever since i put the food in. are they still hungry because some food is still sitting on the sand base??
Thanks,
Dave
