I am thinking about this light for my 36g bowfront would this be ok to at least give me 2wpg and this would work in a bowfront right?

2wpg is reasonable on a 36g tank :) I have about 1.9wpg on my 47gal and things are growing pretty well with fertilising. Just need to change from Excel dosing to pressurized CO2... Oh the expense...

I was thinking of adding an Odyssea as well --the smaller 24" single 65w bulb model, however I'm not sure if i should go with the 50/50 or the 12000K (yeah, odd temp rating  ). It reviews well, and cuts the cost huge next to a regular brand.

What I'm concerned about is how blue the tank ends up looking and also I would still like to give the best spectrum for the plants.

Oh and what about heat with if I used a glass top? (will be using the mounting legs)
