210 gallon 👀

Glad it made it to you in relatively few pieces!

A word to the wise: Fasten that wood very firmly. As in, attach it to an anvil, with 10", depleted uranium lag screws. Seriously, juniper is EXTREMELY bouyant, and it takes forever to waterlog. I had a piece in the 150 float loose after almost a year!
I plan to silicone it to the bottom glass of the aquarium and hope that does it 😆 fingers crossed!

I've had silicone tear loose on the bigger pieces. Maybe I didn't use enough.

Most of my tanks have substrate. Planted ones often have gravel and in ones with sand I tend to plant on things in in pots.

For at least the last 120 15 years I have pretty much only used Malaysian wood which always sinks. But in my early years I used a lot of cyprus which does not sink until very water logged. To hold it down I used a tile which I drill a hole in using a bit for glass and tile. Then I use a stainless steel screw to attached the tole to the bottom of the wood. The tile sits on the nottom glass and ise covered buy the substrate which helps weight it down if needed.

When I am doing this in a planted tank with 2-3 inches of subtrate and I do not want to bury the bottom of the wood in the substrate, U have an assortment of hollow nylon spacers which I place between the tile and the wood. This lets me anchor the wood without having to bury more than a 1/2 inch of less of it.

The tile method works just as well in a bare bottom tank but you do see the tile/ here is an example. In this case the tile is wah allows the wood to be placed vertically.

Personally I'd suggest super glue instead of silicone. This would help future proof and likely hold better than the silicone. If, sometime in the future, you decided to break down the tank and redo, the super glue would be easier to remove as just a little rubbing alcohol would dissolve the glue.

I was planning on doing both honestly, super glue and reinforce with silicone. I’m just not sure that glue alone will keep it down
