I’ve used a different brand before this is my first time using quickrete. I intentionally bought an extra bag because I know you lose a lot!A 210 will need at least 2 heaters, ideally 3.
If west coast American quikrete sand is like east coast Canadian quikrete, expect to lose half of it to rinsing and still have sediment. I like using playsand, and have found some local sandpits that give decent quality bags, but that international brand was a lot of rinsing for little return when I bought it. It was suggested in the forum, so maybe their sources in the west have less clay. I hope so.
Maybe, maybe not... It isn't like it is international or anything. Talking Wyoming to Washington.I've got a few nice driftwood pieces I'd give you. But postage would be prohibitive, I have a feeling.
10-20 seems underpriced, flat rate has gone up significantly at least locallyMaybe, maybe not... It isn't like it is international or anything. Talking Wyoming to Washington.
You can figure the cost here for USPS. View Flat Rate Boxes may be the best bet. Depending on the box size needed it would be $10.00-$20.00. This would likely be cheaper than getting on-line with shipping.

I used the price calculator for a medium sized flat rate box from Sheridan WY to Seattle WA. At first I thought it was a Priority Mail box but looking again I don't think that is the case. The medium box is ~$10.00 and the large, ~$20.00.10-20 seems underpriced, flat rate has gone up significantly at least locally
Give sizes and we can see if it is plausible. If there is a size problem that is in the wood's length just cut in half and a bit of silicone will put back. We're talking some really big pieces, though...
Don;t always need big wood for a long tank. Don't know where this thought came from but how about using small pieces to make pylons for a flooded and submersed boat dock? Put an air stone under each pylon and I think it would make for a really pretty tank.At this point I’m openscoured the river with not a lot of luck. It’s hard to find attractive wood for a 6 foot long tank
