1 zip -- Dodger staff put on a show, especially the relievers.
andThe New York Yankees have been waiting a long time for Giancarlo Stanton to return to the lineup in 2025. And for the first time since his injury, it appears he’s on the verge of being back on the roster.
According to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, the superstar slugger is set to compete in his fourth rehab game, and is just about set to return to the MLB roster.
And there are a few more getting close. And don't let the 3 game loss to Boston fool you.Gil (lat) is at least 10 days away from facing hitters and probably won't return until after the All-Star break, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Gil resumed throwing off a mound in late May and continues to progress in his return from a right lat strain. However, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that the right-handed starter won't face hitters for 10-to-14 days, which suggests that Gil won't be able to return to the big club's rotation before the All-Star break. Given that he hasn't seen game action at all this season, Gil will almost certainly requite a minor-league rehab stint before he's activated from the injured list.
Hah! Every heard of the Atlanta Braves? That's them but their pitching kinda stinks too. They lost Smith-Shawver and Schwellenbach to arm injurys, CY YOUNG winner Chris sale to a rib injury. And their offense is the single most inconsistent in MLB, besides maybe the Rockies. check their record. I wanted to get that off my chest, I am a Braves fan, my fav player is Matt Olson (all star this year!), and I live in GA, but man, it is close to pure torture to sit down and watch an inning from this team!! They are going downhill!!!!I don't understand what is going on with Cleveland.
Pitching has been good but they just can't score. They are losing games 1-0 and 2-1 and have often had opportunities to score.
Last two games they won 7-5 and 10-6 so mayhaps the offense is waking up. The 10-6 win yesterday was due to a grand slam in the tenth inning.
