i know thats why im so puzzled by anyones standards if it what i think it is it should be dead, ill have pictures soon, like i said its sall but there enough detail imo

Already spoke to gab about this, but the mysterious pink figure, is a protist (Foraminiferan). Specifically, Homotrema rubrum. I have one hiding in my tank too

got my friend, (which im verrry jealous o at the moment) who works at the aquarium of the pacific, to ask them about this thing (and a few other things ) and see if they have anything to offer

i wanna work at an aquarium!! , he doesnt even know squat about fish too

i dropped them when i tryed fitting them to the rock also twisted off the bubble algae it was getting on my nerves

while i dropped the GSP this broke off so i decided to put it next to the new powerhead to see if itll go onto the rock work

imo all i can so far is that its small size is good for getting a better placement

but yeah after ive had it a while ill write a review


frags doing ok noticed 2 polyps, but the main one where i dropped it hasnt opened yet

umm i sort of kinda flodded the house...

not fish related and even though there was minimal damage this might set back the upgrade or more corals.
the unopened polyps have since opened and are really enjoying the double low, mini frag has 3 polyps now

tiny zoos are 3 in number now, main has 3 more as well

4 new pink things showing up

firefish is fat and happy

mushies arent extending as they used to but their 2 new mushrooms are growing.

have you had it go through all floors of the house?? and have the majority of it land on unpacked boxes full of books and photos.....


anyway despite that there is actually minimal damage, my bathrrom is fine, the main floor bathroom needs a fe touchups, and the basement needs to be rearranged so the boxes arent underneath a water source



also noticed yet another hitchiker, the only thing i can describe is that it has a white top, pink what i think is patterned shell/skin, and the body shape is whats in the link, just the body shape f the nearest, erm, thing.

well lets see its been a whileand despite school the tank has held up well with every now and then feeding and weekly 50% water changes, no cyano, very little algae. corals are doing great and GSP is actually starting to get the G noticable lol. mushrooms are growing like weeds and the zoas are...just there lol

today - since i woke up early for no reason - is water change day and maybe a head over to the holy grail of fishstores in the area so well see how it goes...

ok so i got more zoos, mostly watermelon some purple ghosts some uranium greens and one or two cross hair zoos, attached to what i later found out is a living clam

everyone else is doing good and im ending up to feed the fish once a week lol

i moved the chaeto out of the little box i had it in and weighed it down with shells and now all other algae is gone.

got some pink coralne growth and still more olive green

new hitchikers i find are: tube worms, more pink things, a white brittle star, 2 white conchs and some sort of snail fused into an astrea snail's shell but the astrea died so most likely hes dead too.

everything is going great tank looks asweome getting bigger one in a few weeks as well as some free blue xenia

i managed a few so here, seems tank issues have jumped ships cuz now freshwater is being a PITA.... a few hundred dollars can fix it either way and another big salty tank looks mighty tempting.....
