oh cool!, were they in pairs? as idk if a pair of each would be suitable space wise, mainlygetting the peppermint for the errm aiptasia lol, i would have loved to try my hand at the burning but idk if ive got something hot enough.... would a candle lighter work

ok i think i found a timer that will work lol so no more sleepless nights for the fishes

and this morning the aiptasia has stayed put so happy about that, and yet another thingamabobber has appeared, theres two and one looks like a mini hercules beetle but white, and the other is slightly smaller but with no "horn" im refraining from taking pics to see if i can use the good camera for them.

also the wierd black and white arm things i now know has 4 arms.

also found yet another feather duster *sigh* o well at leasti didnt have to pay for them lol

i have been told the realzation that the reason i got cyano and all the bad stuff in my set-up in california was because my dad sneakily topped off the tank with TAP water now we have establshed a system, he buys the stuff and i take care of it lol


sorry i have been a little upwith the homework but if i stick to my scheduale i should be able to take pictures tommorow

also thelfs closed early today so no WC or shrimp. however its alsogood as my dad got montezumas revenge while in mexico so he didnt feel good anyways. he'll be home this week though so monday maybe some new additions to the tank.


lastly, im starting to get uneasy with my blenny (whos names i have come down to lucky or spot ) today hes been on the bottom of the tank lying on the sand for the first time today idk if thats normal though, i really really think he isnt getting enough food but he isnt being bothered by the clowns or firefish only fighting is between the clowns or the clowns bothering the firefish every other day. ive convinced him to get the seaweed/nori strips but im wondering if theres anything else i can do for the guy,

also found another HUGE aiptasia, my mom took pics so they'll hoprfully be upsoon

i dont think hes gonna make it guys hes sorta tilting on his side in the sand but idk if thats him or the fact hes on a smal bump, hes covered in specks of sand, and i know its not ick cuz they fall off. hes also got what i hope is just color on the fins but a thin red line where the fins are (the area where the trasparent part and the thicker part of the fins meet), he does have a fullish stomach though so i hope he doesnt die

found himthis morning buried under all the sand, theres a fair bit of doscoloration on his body but i think thats just the fact he died, fisrt fish to die thats my fault poor guy, next time ill have to be sure that any fish i get just to make sure they arent skinny, i didnt know this guy was till we were home as i only got a front view. hopefully i might get a refund and instead of another fish hopefully more corals and shrimp.

ok, its not good to dweel upoun the past and imust learn from my mistakes and look on the bright side, i dont have to feed that disgusting gel food that pollutes the water like no other. i also have some pictures concerning the hitchhikers

hey guys, NEMO might know what im talking about but for the non-chat users i have found what seems (at a glance) to be a very (this big---->0 ) small pink birdnest coral, but the thing is i havent seen it since the 5-% WC i did and i only thought it was some sort of coraline but then it grew extensions!! then i knew something was up, my mom took a pic and itll be here soon. NEMO convinced me to touch it and when i did it was hard and the parts i touched turned lighter pink then back to its normal hot pink color

im also doubtful as its smack in the middle of my powerheads flow and its in the center of the tank, so techniqually shouldnt it be dead?

o yes, got the peppermint shrimp today and doing the WC tomorrow, also got 2 new tiny mushrooms and i think one is migrating to the main rockwork, which is good as i intended to place the rock in the U shaped crevice to have a sorts of valley of purple/blue

Sps like high flow Gab however I have no experience what so ever with sps so hopefully one of the others will be along soon.

ps the pink hysterix is one of the only sps corals that I really like
