2 Weeks Into Cycle

Hello

I am 2/3 weeks into my fishless cycle in my 2nd 550L tank and I just want some reassurance it is going ok as this is 1st time I have actually done a proper fishless cycle.

My ammonia levels are dropping from 5ppm - 0ppm withing 12 hours so I am just topping this up each day to feed the bacteria is that right?

Nitrites are at around 5ppm now, so am I just looking for this to drop to 0ppm and keep feeding the ammonia once it reaches 0ppm?

Thanks for advice, just wanting to check really

Correct. Once Nitrite and Ammonia are dropping in 12 hours, the cycle is done You need to keep topping Ammonia up daily though if it gets to zero, so you are on the correct path here
