Hypozia is most commonly a problem in tanks where there is no surface movement. It is quite easy to get the water oxygen content to be high enough to support more fish then the filter can just by addition of a spray bar or powerheads just for the surface, or a sump. (Although obviously doing any of those things will not automatically mean that you can add more fish and "quite easy" does not mean that it will automatically be so.)

Most the fish stores in the area have the same PH and all other fish have done well in my water so far (touch wood) though I assume fish in the LFS isn't always the right water conditions anyways? Endlers seem a good choice, african shell dwellers are an unusal one not heard of before (though limited knowledge ). Thanks for all the suggestions keep them rolling and currently researching possibilities so far.
