144Ltr Aquarium

Ok, so I have a 144ltr aquarium containing:
4 neon tetras
4 cardinal tetras
2 pristella tetras
2 black widows
1 female guppy
1 ghost catfish
1 false siamese flying fox
2 bolivian rams
(some of the fish were originally in larger numbers but have slowly died off. They seem pretty happy though and there are lots of places for them to hide)

First of all, can I fit anything else in there (It doesn't look particularly full) and what do you recommend? Bear in mind that I live in Lincolnshire where the water is quite hard ( I believe)

I would up all your schooling fish to at least 6 or just rehome the odd ones you dont want to keep. So thats all the Tetras and the Ghost Catfish.

Where abouts in Lincolnshire are you from?

I would recommend your exchange the 4 Cardinals for 4 Neons and add 5 more Glass Catfish.Then as mentioned add 3 morepristellas and black widows.
I hate it when people keep a single glass catfish.

Hey, no need to get angry! I had three together and the other died. But it's quite old now as with the pristellas and black widows) and didn't want to keep adding more to a shoal as they died.

How old is the Catfish

Well yeah, they didn't even tell me that they were shoaling fish. I've had it 5-6 years maybe Can't quite remember

Typical dumb fish shops!
Its quite unusual you've had it for such a long time. TBH there is no point upping the glass cat numbers, the little fella is at the end of his life

Yeah I know it's a shame I would have done if he was younger. I saw a load at blackpool sealife centre! (I went for the football! ) They didn't have any plants in their tank though!
