1 Fighter Fish With Cardinal And Black Neon Tetra?

Hi I'm hoping to put 1 male or female fighter fish in with my cardinal and black neon tetras, is this a good idea or will they not get on? I've seen a fighter in with cardinals in a pet shop but thought I would get some advice first.

My other thought was a dwarf gorami

Depends on the temperment of the betta... one time I had a betta attack my blue rams non-stop.. put him in my moms tank and got another and this new blue one could care less abut the rams

My mum has a male fighter in with a male platty and they are quite happy

I might not risk it, I've had loads of trouble with my tetras and dont really want any more hassle

in my experience bettas and tetras have not worked. i've tried this multiple times with quite a few different tetras and its always ended up with nipping. some people have claimed to set this up without problems but i wouldn't try it. dwarf gourami would be nice though.

Ok thanks, I think they have white spot at the moment so I'm treating them for that so adding another fish wouldn't happen for a long time anyway

I'm just getting some ideas, I've had so many problems with them I'm not even sure I want them anymore
