i posted this to a reply of something in the photo area of the forum too, more people look here though. anyway. i think im going to put my 1.5 hex into some use. how will a planted shrimp tank look?? im gona stick some driftwood in there and was thinking some java moss...along with some other type of plant. i havent dont live plants before so what would be some good begginer and common at the pet store plants?. i have an underground filter and aerator. i was gona throw a couple of ghost shrimp in there. are there any other shrimp i could have?? something as tolerant as ghosts??

i would get amano shrimp. they are cool and have some more coloring than ghosts. but if your able to you could also try cherry shrimp.

as for plants some java fern would go nicely with the moss. its pretty common and doesnt need alot of light. just a rock or driftwood to root itself onto.
