i suppose its each to there own im not into keeping marine so i never really take any notice of what shops stock marine and what doesnt
but i do agree with you on the accessories
have you tried pets are pals at chapeltown or elm lane tropicals for accessories they both stock good ranges of accessories but not much in the marine side of things when it comes to fish

Don't know,but I often see a guy popping up who is local to me that is part of a fish rehoming/adoption scheme for fish that have outgrown tanks,can't be cared for any more etc.It might be worth a shot contacting the organisation.One of his posts here:

My brother has 3 MASSIVE full grown Oscars he would like to re-home, they been living together for years, Tiger and Reds.

knowing my luck ill go and buy some from a lfs and then loads will appear for rehoming
