Community tank with the following species

I want to give them a vegtable snack which would be better and whats the best way to prepare it.

Why not try both ? You'll soon find out which is preferred.
I just weigh them down (fresh and uncooked) but others tend to blanche them (stick in microvave for a minute and then cool down or rinse briefly under cool water). Personally I don't like the idea of nuking stuff but there you go. Choice is yours.

Mine like both and also peas. I blanche them by dropping them in a glass of boiling water for a minute.
