Zoo Med 50/50 For Plants

I have purchased one of these for my ten gallon a 15 watt t8. I am now worried that since it is 50% 10000k and 50% 6500k it may not be good for plants. Will it work?

On the contrary! It will be very good. Best results are achieved with lights between 4000 and 10000 K. Your 6500K mimicks natural daylight and your 10000 will give it a slight blueish colour, whereas if you would take 4000 it would be more yellowish. The latter having blueish or more yellowish light is just a matter of taste though.
