Zig Zag Spiney Eel & Channa

we bought some zig zag spiney eel Mastacembelus circumcintus ones as well

i wonder if they are what they are by what i see on the net they are

plus we bought some Rainbow Snakehead but found out they are
since these photo's they have had bogwood added and loads of plants in b0th tanks
let us know what you think
been told they are Channa spec. assam

Those might be tire track eels. If their design goes all the way down to the belly its a tire track, but if the belly is mostly plain then it is a zig zag eel. Beautiful specimen either way. I also agree that the second one is a rainbow snakehead. Great finds!
