My current stocking in my 300ltr with an aquaone 1200 external and jbl i100 internal is as follows.

5 denisonii barbs
2 cupid cichlids
2 firemouths
2 convicts
2 african butterfly fish
4 pictus carfish
1 candy strip pleco
1 golden panchax
2 dwarf gourami

According to a certain online aquarium stocking website I am 140% stocked with this message "Your tank is overstocked. Unless you are an experienced aquarist who can meet the maintenance/biological needs of this aquarium, lower stocking levels are recommended."

It also says I am 75% filtered and that I should add more filteration.

I know I should not listen to this site too much but what are your views?

think i know exactly what site you are talking about!! i had the same thing when i put in my details. i think that your stocking levels are fine given the size of your tank and the filtration you are providing. wouldn't bother paying too much attention to that site, i'm surprised it does not say 'you need to increase your filtration....click here to buy a filter!!' So long as your fish are healthy and your water conditions are good, I don't see a problem with what you have in your tank.
