so what would that make me? Serious attuitde for a somewhat small chick and like to pick at the fins of others and easily scared in horror movies or anything with alot of silence than gore or loud noises.

Piranha keepers-I find they are usually immature. Compensating for lack of thier own personality in some (most) occasions. Get joy and a sense of superiority out of watching thier Piranha rip another fish apart. Usually in the 15-30 age range, male. I find a lot of them are ex-soldiers.

oK.....My friend is a piranha keeper. Sure he may be 16 but he is my good friend. I complety disagree with what you said. He has many tank, one with jack dempseys and one with piranhas. He isnt dull and not an asshole. Sorry if I sound mean but we are good friends. Plus most of these dont really fit alot of poeple. I want a sw tank and plan to get one in the near future, but I do not keep africans. I want agressive cichlids, at the same time my favorite fish is the clown loach.

Livebearer keepers- Very mellow, keep fish because its fun to watch them and its relaxing. Doesnt want to spend lots of money on expensive tanks or fish, because these fish suit them just right.

I keep lots of livebearers...swordies, platies and guppies. It is fun to watch them. I am a very mellow person. Expense comes from having to house all the fry these beauties produce!!!

Barb (and other small aggressive fish keepers)- Loves to see the fish school. Likes having an active tank with a lot of interacting between the fish. Enjoys the exotic colours.

I'd love to have some barbs but I am worried that they will eat my live plants. Anyone?

African cichlid keepers- I find most of the African Cichlid keepers ten to be in thier 20's to early thirties. Enjoy the spectacular colours and personalities of thier fish. Most of the time, these people will live in places with naturally high pH in the tap water. Majority thinking of switching to SW in the near future

I am in my early 30's. Love the fishies colours and personalities. The pH of my tapwater is neutral but my fish live and breed in it quite happily. I was once thinking of switching to SW but the costs are almost prohibitive. I have also feel in love with these guys too much.

Perhaps we could also do a star sign thing linking peoples star sign to the fish they like!!!

Lol I was goin to keep RBP's at one time, so I dont think all piranha keepers are like that. You get the feeling though when you read some of the posts on piranha-fury.com
