The man is getting my shrimps in on Monday and they will be avalible next weekend. He has ordered Cherry and algea shrimps. Although he says he doesn't know what the algea shrimps will be I suspect they will be amano shrimps. What do you think?

I am very happy that he was able to get them and can't wait till next Saturday.

Ooooh how exciting, this is going to be a long week while you wait til Saturday then, I bet time will just not want to pass!! I happened to see some red cherry shrimp at one of the fish shops I went to just before Christmas and bought some, they are very fascinating to watch and I love them to bits, mine never hide and are always out and busy....so enjoy saturday and be prepared to be stuck staring into your tank for the rest of the weekend!! :D

Well I got them and lost them. I bought the cherries for £1 and the amano for 90p. Sadly my Kribs and congo tetras terrarised them. Sunday I did a complete tidy out and only 3 out of the 6 I bought were left. So the three survivers were transferred into a tank with one very small baby krib and are doing well. I don't really know what I will do next but at the minute they are happy.

So small shrimps will get eaten no matter how many hidding places there are. My tank was heavely planted.
