hay im so unsure what im doing its unreal lol
but im so exited but not sure when she is going to give birth so i aint got a clue really just hope they dont get eaten

shes has a gravid spot? is she getting fatter?
if she is pregnant and most are if your tank has places for fry to hide,and maybe some floating plants,
your fry stand a good chance,what size tank do you have,what fish have you got? donna.

i have a juwel 10 gallon tank - one sucka thing lol
- 2 play's ( 1 male 1 female )
- 2 female guppies and 4 male guppies
she is fat but not round she is very chubby on the bottom and yes she doas have a dark patch near the anal fin....how long is she due do you know?

hi there,
platy give birth roughly once a month,without a pic its hard to say,as you dont have an other female to compare her too,with all live bearers the best situation is 2-3 female per male,because males will harrass a female none stop,if a female is stressed she can abort her fry too soon.
i hope you get fry,platy are my fave fish,i also love guppy ,mollie too.good luck,donna.
