One of yellow labs has changed from a bright yellow to a pale yellow but he is perfectly healthy, active and feeding? Is there anyway to help this.

Water parameters are fine and the lights are on 12 hours, is this the reason?

He could just be getting old. How long have you had him? Whats his diet consist of? Adding some females could perk up his colours.

He's about 2" big, had it avout 4/5 months, he has 2 females. I feed him flakes an sometimes special food sticks and freeze dried brineshrimp..

Hhhmmm, Im not sure then. Just keep an eye on him, maybe do some larger water changes. As long as he's happy and eating I don't think colour loss is much to worry about :/ He'll be your " not so Yellow Lab".

Judging by your signature, he's got some pretty boisterous tank mates and that may be causing him to pale. Generally labs do better in groups of 5 or more.
