How? They only come from one river and that river isnt collected from very often. Im not saying you cant just inrested how because im after fish from Tapajos aswell. Im not to sure on the other options i cant think of anything else that will work with the Apisto and in a tank that size.

You answered your own question there. There are some small shell dwellers that would work but i dont know much about them.

Just been doing some more searching for you and Queen Arabesque Plec/L260 are found in Tapajos and would work in a 60L although they are likely to eat any Apisto eggs they can.
