I'm so happy! My red lyretail swordie (Lacey's sister) had babies today, looks like about 20-25 of them. I moved her to the maternity ward 2 days ago (just in time) and she popped them out just fine and she's doing well. While not quite as good of a mom as Lupe, she managed to snack on a few, at least she wasn't hunting them down like a few others I have do. Momma has been moved to the recovery tank where she'll spend a few days recuperating and then back to the big house.

Congrats, you look after them well.

Congrats take good care of them my first batch of fry all died and one lived and is doing pretty well.

Cool! I got about sixty new swordies the other day and moved them to the grow out tank with their half sisters last night. They are doing fine but it does not look like there are still 6o+ of them. I hope a lot of them are just hiding but I am starting to be a bit unsure that false flying foxes do not eat fry. Good luck with the fry!
