Fish Crazy
About 6 weeks ago I emptied one of my tanks because I had a problem with the filter. Because it was so close to christmas, I emptied the fish out and turned everything off but left the water and plants in the tank to do at a later date.
Well tonight I decided I must do something about it. I gave it a good clean, took 95% of the (freezing cold) water out, filled it back up and switched everything on.
There, swimming around were 3 miniscule fish. They can't have long hatched because they are sooooo tiny. I have no idea what they are but they are full of life. I hope adding heat, clean water, light and filter won't stress them out after being in the cold and dark for so long.
But I am so amazed to see them! Before I closed the tank down I had mountain minnows, endlers and tetras in there. Anyone want to guess what these little ones might be?
