Wow This Is Wow....

While looking for the bookshelf aquarium i had seen in petco i came across this. Im not sure if it has been shown before but its insane. It has enough space for 6 fish and is $150.00 .... and 2.4 gallons... are they high???

Four inches deep, nothing could even turn around. Even neons or white clouds would be crowded in that thing. Six fish in there? Unlikely.

Wow, i would think people would get it that it is cruel to put so many fish in a EXTREMELY TINY TANK, if i were to suggest anything for that tank, i would go for a betta, or some dhrimpo adn MAYBE snail, and that would be pushing it.

Seriously though, why do some people have such low consideration for fish?

Lol Doresy, I am vegetarian and most people are just amazed that i don't eat fish! Even if i did eat fish, I just wouldn't be able to now I am keeping fish - it would just feel so wrong....
That 'tank' - omg. Things like that should be illegal, it would be like selling a dog cage and saying, hey it is just fine to get a dog and keep him in this all the time.

4" would allow small fish like pygmy rasboras in there. Whether 6 would go happily is perhaps something else.

While the advice on the stocking is a little off, those tanks could be cool. Great for a small pico reef or some such.

tbh... its not that bad.

ADFs, bumblebee gobies, shrimp, otos, bettas, a dwarf puffer........ if you choose the right fish, then it's fine.

You and others may well be bored but when things like this do crop up on these forums the reactions from the less bored may just stop a novice/newbe from buying one and trying to cram 6 fish in it just 'cos it says you can.

I find Coronation St./Eastenders boring so I don't watch them.....if you find these sort of threads boring why follow them?

Anyways, each to their own so lets leave it at that
