i have a story then questions

today i have found some of my cory eggs hatch, wow are the babies cute or what! yadayadayada....

so now i found more, guppy fry hiding in the gravel, i saw one being eaten, then i saw another one swimming around so i saved it. i also saw lots of dead fry on the gravel, they are white with eyes and the mom is popping weird stuff out, like weird poo or..tube sorta thing

i saw some ud cats and wanna get some for my 10 gallon tank

are they easy to get ick or any kind of desieses? u know how neons can get ick easily? sorta like that

now i have

1 20 g tank (cory fry tank)
2 10 g tank (cory and guppy tank) (community tank, thinking of ud cats and other fish)

questions

1. why is there so many dead fry
2. what is the mom poping out?
3. are ud cats (upside down cats) pron to any deseise?

Has your mother fish been stressed out anyhow?

What are your parameters like? (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ph etc)

i can only answer 1 of your questions and that would be that your guppy fry were eaten by the parents or other tank mates.
