Aquaadvisor is flawed sorry but it just is its a good beginners tool but when you get to tanks like this they can handle a much bigger load than the inch per gallon rule and it just screws off. Also when your choosing fish its better to use pictures and recommendations than names on a list
To Erk - I understand what kind of tank your wanting now!! How about a dwarf acara tank. Laetacara and Krobia in my opinion are two of the most beautiful families of fish going, both peaceful and brilliant colour for their size. Depending on what your LFS are like you might be able to get hold of the rarer ones but you should be able to get hold of Laetacara Dorsiger, Laetacara Curviceps and Nannacara Anomala which are the more common ones though the easiest dwarf acara to find is the Keyhole cichlid. The rarer ones are things like Laetacara sp. Buckelkopf and Krobia Red Cheeks sp Rio Xingu but not impossible to find!
These go really well with all of the tetras and cory cats as well as things like hatchet fish, spotted headstanders and pencil fish. Now in a 150 gallon tank that is going to be stunning!
Someone above mentioned about apistos, the main flaw with them in a bigger tank is that they take up so much territory with people stating between 12 inch to 24 inch square foot prints of territories. Where as fish like the L.Dorsiger have been documented to take up between 6-8 inches at a big maximum of 12 square so its going to be easier to combine pairings or groups in a tank of your size. Though that being said thats if you get

15 Marbled Hatchet Fish
15 Cardinal Tetras or Rummy Nose cant decide which I like more
