Would Like Shrimp But What?

Hi All

I have Betta only tanks and would like to have a couple of shrimp in both tanks, mainly for algae and clean up control

I have moss balls and live plants in both tanks, one tanke has 3 female bettas in (30ltr) and one tank with 1 male betta in (18ltr).

What shrimps would be best in both tanks and what is the min/max amounts allowed?

I'd go for amano shrimp, great cleaners, and they are quite large so less likely to get eaten. (the bettas will probably go for them at first but give up after a few weeks, at least thats what mine did.)

As for how many? Lots! I dunno you could probably have 15 in your 30 litre if you wanted to. They have very small bioloads.

I brought 3 Amanos today; 2 in the 30ltr tanks and 1 in the 18ltr.

Bettas have tried to have a go but the shrimps put up a good fight and came out winning
