I have a 10 gallon fish tank. I have had it for some time like 2 years and I love having fish but I want to know what all I can have in it. Right now she only has a Dwarf gourami. I would love to add some more fish too it. If I can please don't tell me to add guppies they always die in my tank because of the way my water is thanks;)

What kind of water do you have?

Knowing what the water parameters are would be useful, ph, gH and kH if you have these.
Also a picture of your tank set up may help in determining what may be suitable for the kind of set up you have.

I'm sorry but how do you tell what kind of water you have? I also don't have a way to take at pic at the moment. My Camara is charging.

Another method of finding out what kind of water you have to too see on your local water board website for your area, usually has a whole bunch of info on that.

Another good way to check your water parameters is to go to your local fish store with a sample of your tank water and ask them to test it for you.
You want to ask for the actual numbers, don't take "your water is fine" for an answer.
Then you can report here with the numbers, we'll help you figure out what kind of fish you can have.

ok so I looked it up and it lookes like my state has the softest water in America I will trie to get the numbers for you but that is all I can give you for now

Hmm, still not enough at all, perhaps if you can take a screenshot of the water board information, we can find out he relevant information.

But just saying the softest water is not enough, we still need ph, kh and gh

(gh is general hardness and kh is carbonate hardness in case you need to know what to look for.)
