hi i dont know anyting about the feather fin but i think your neon tetras and your black tetras would do beter in groups of 6 or more, actually same with your corys too. Baring that in mind i think you'd have an overstocked tank.

Just my opinion i would wait till more experience members come along and answer

No simply they get to 8 inches and very chunky, one of my favorite fish they need a large 4 foot tank imo smaller synodontis for you to consider would be synodontis nigriventus or true upside down catfish.

Also the rest of your stock is pretty bad.... most of your fish need to be in minimums of 6 and in those low numbers its going to be bad. Also to make it worse your tank isnt big enough to hold all of the proper schools of fish. All of the following fish need to be in groups of 6 I would suggest you choose 2-3 of these groups and then start to rehome the rest so they can be kept properly.

Glowlight tetras
Black tetras
Neon tetras
Cherry barbs
Zebra Danio

Then you have your cory catfish so thats your
Bronze Corydora's
Albino Corydora
Catfish Corydora

They all need to be in groups of 6 as well, but admitedly the bronze and albino are the same species just different colour morphs so that would be okay, what does the Catfish Corydora look like? Is it different to the bronze I would perhaps consider taking that back as well.

Then on top of that you have a common plec which does not belong in a 3 foot tank it needs a tank twice that size. Again I suggest that you rehome that as well, if you want a plec there are a good 50 species of plec that are suitable for that tank have you considered alternatives?

Same for the Golden Algae Eaters, they get really big and to make it worse as they do get bigger they get really nasty. And again the red tailed shark they get to 6 inches minimum and are quite nasty and with other bottom dwellers in there like the cories etc your going to have issues most people agree that they need a 4 foot tank to combat those issues.

Then to balance out what you should have in your tank you already have 10 guppies which if they are mixed gender your going to get babies quite quickly......

You have some serious decisions to make as to what you want to do in the long term with this tank. If your sticking with this size tank for the long term a stocking plan based on what you said you wanted and have would perhaps be -

10 Guppy's
6 Glowlight Tetra's
6 Black Tetra's
6 Neon Tetra's
3 Swordtail's
3 Bronze Corydora's + 3 Albino Corydora
3 Upside Down Catfish - Synodontis Nigriventus

Sorry its so harsh but you need to sort it out.

yeah hope you work it out, i thought it was alot for a 3 footer, i have a clearseal 3 footer and only have:

13 neon tetra
8 black neons and
6 white clouds

Good Luck

Yeah the stock list I put for Daniel is quite heavy but its kind of the situation where he has to rehome the least fish. I think in your tank you should be able to add a few more fish in like feature fish, maybe apistos or small gourami? Twig catfish would work in there as well perhaps?

Personally think you need to read up on your current fish and sort their situation out, before thinking of adding any further fish :good:

Cheers Wills definitly will be looking into it. Just working on getting some plants in there atm

In a word, no.

Featherfins can reach 8 (or more) inches and need a 4 foot tank. They are generally peaceful but will eat whatever they can fit in their mouths, including small fish.

Wills has given some excellent advice about your stocking in general =)
