I have an empty tank 60x30x35cm [60L] with a 4x24 T5 luminaire.

Now I cannot decide whether to set it up as a tropical planted tank or go marine, as I already have another tropical tank I would like to try marines.

Question is though would it be suitable for corals and maybe a couple of Clownfish?

What other kit would I need?

Skimmer?
Powerhead?
Heater?

I have a spare Aquaone HOB filter...

What else?

i also have a 60 litre running with a 100 watt heater hob filter with carbon and few pieces of live rock as media,450 l/h powerhead,

u should be able to have about 3 fish and a few cleaners

What equipment do you have apart from powerhead, heater & filter?

Ok, these things you really do need

Money (ive spent somewhere in the 1000-2000 american dollars for my 20 gallon reef)
Patience
Research (do at least a few months of research before you begin, it will really help you out A LOT)

Next is to get a few books and read them. Once you get the general idea, ask us specific questions. There is so much to know about the marine hobby that its difficult for us to tell you all about it.

If you want a few corals and a clownfish, then you are probably having a reef tank.
