Worst Part Of Setting Up A Tank?

Cleaning sand, spending hours with my hands in freezing buckets of water swirling sand around is not my idea of having fun.

Oh yes. Cleaning out really filthy second-hand substrate... okay, so I saved myself a couple of quid using what came with the tank, but if I'd known how long it would take, how many nails it would break, and how long it would take to clean up the bathroom afterwards, I'd have gone and bought some new!

The cost. The cycling aint so bad if you have another tank to watch ,but your still probably dying with excitment to add new fish to the aquarium.

Decorating the tank to look exactly how you want it to... I never seem to get mine perfect... Always close to what I want... but not quiet... That and cost -not so concerned about cost... my dad likes the hobby too so he pays for most :D

haha to prove my point on the choosing the fish further up,
since i posted i thought i was on a cert i wanted to use the 15 gall with the german blue rams....
Im knoe getting a betta hahaha
in my 25L :fun: :fun:

Building & leveling racks is time consuming, beyong that it's a piece of cake, as nearly all of my tanks are bare breeding tanks. Squeezing tanks into tight spots is sometimes a pain, as is crawling under racks to get to the occasional buried outlet.

The worst part is setting up a tank and then wanting to change the substrate... regrets will always kill you.

Having someone run into it and break it while I am trying to get the stand set up for it!
I am still hunting a top brace for my new 55g so I can get the new glass in...

idiots in your lfs not telling you the fish you bought wont be suitable in your setup - then having to take it back when it annoys your once peaceful fish!!!!

Plants, i can never get the plants right then when i get pretty close to how i want them, they stay like it for a while the there will be one floating up the top, then another and another Grrrrr

Thats what research is for. Ford doesnt tell you that their cars arent as durable or reliable as toyota, but you dont see people blaming them
