MissMarie, you are my hero. Kudos for saving that Betta. Please post pics and work toward a 10 gallon tank if it's a male & you can't add it to your females.
Setting up her tank in my room right now xD it's on my nightstand. Since I'm moving soon, I'll be spending quite a lot of time packing in my room, so, I can keep an eye on her. I'm adding water now to give the sand time to settle! I added prime, a half dose of betta fix, and a drop of betta revive. I find those kill anything left over in the tank, is a good preventative, and if something is wrong, is great for helping until I figure out exactly what is wrong! My neighbors used to bring their bettas to me when they were sick for a stay at the "betta hospital" where I was in charge of healing them. Only lost 1 - poor boy had dropsy. He had pine cone scales when he got here
Well, wanted to add a plant, but all I have is a plastic one that's quite sharp. So, I added a spawn mop. Made a plant from yarn, and stuck the base under the rocks. It looks like a yarn plant!
My other females loved it! They would swim through it and have fun! You can let it float or sink it! Use any colors - but soak it for 72 hours at least, after rinsing it so no color runs off!
