"PANORAMIC VIEW MADE OF ONLY THREE PANELS OF GLASS NOT THE STANDARD 5 THAT YOU NORMALLY SEE AND IT COMES WITH THE BALLAST AND THE LIGHTED HOOD ALSO WHICH INCLUDE TWO 18 WATT COMPACT FL BULBS TO SIMULATE DAY AND NIGHT, THE BALLAST IS WIRED TO TURN ON EITHER ONE LAMP OR BOTH AT THE SAME TIME, THIS ONE IS REEF READY AND IS WAITING FOR THE RIGHT HOBBYIST TO ENJOY IT, BALLAST VIA AQUA AND 468 AQUARIUM READY TO GO AND BACKPACK FILTER AS WELL THANKS

THE BALLAST ALONE IS WORTH 80.00 AND CFL BULBS 15.00 EACH AND NOT EVEN INCLUDING THE TANK AND THE HOOD OR LIGHT FIXTURE AND FILTER WHICH WILL COME IN A TOTAL PACKAGE"

would this be a good start?

Hard to tell....hate to use this, but, 36/20...only 1.8 watts per gallon which is a ballpark low figure. SH

:D Yes i noticed this as well, but for only $50 for all of this stuff, i would have plenty left over to get more lighting.

You'd just have to stick to shrooms, polyps and other soft corals, but other than that It sounds fine.

Don't understand what it means by 3 pains of glass instead of 5...? Is the front and sides one moulded sheet?

Are you planning on getting a protein skimmer for it? What media are you going to use in the backpack filter?
