As some of you know I'm getting rid of my
55gal corner tank and this is what has replaced it.
it is 43"L X 12"W X 21"H (water level 19")
161Ltrs/42.54US gal/35.42UK gal

My danios appreciate the lenght now and have
great fun zipping up and down it all day

I know it looks basic atm, but that will change over time

Thanks for looking (It'd be nice if you made a comment :p )

:p The tank looks good so far, love tanks with sand, and i find the cave funny looking...i've seen it before..somewhere..

tank looking really nice.don't like the cave thing but the rest of the tank looks really good.

I need the cave for my kribs :p
I've had it scince i started fish keeping and
has been in pretty much all my tanks along the way

I like the cave thing! When I upgrade to my 55 gallon, I'm probably gonna have 3 or 4 things like that, because the Dojos would love me forever if I did! ^___^ Right now all they get is a very unfashinable 1.5 inch PVC tube, which they seem to think is the best thing on earth. Next to food. And trying to rip out my arm hairs when I'm trimming plants.

Keddy
this cave is a hagen exo terra reptile cave (medium)
they come in four sizes and info on them is here.
I have never had any problem using this in an aquarium, although I did boil it before adding it to the first tank, 'cause it was covered in shop dust.

THAT is why i've seen it before :p i thought it looked weird! Of course i musta saw it in the reptiles section

the only fake plant is the large red one, all the others are real.

That's going to be a great tank, Wolf. Good foundamentals

What are the blue spots in the background?

What happened to the ship? I never saw it completely settled in.

Have fun with the new decorating and community building. :D

Your Danios should be happy in that.

I agree, they have a lot of swimmming space, which is great for them. :D

:kewlpics:

I agree, tank looks good. Looks like you have a lot of snails in there
I also like the cave. I recently built something similiar out of some round smooth rocks for my loaches and they have started sleeping in the cave and all the crevices (sp?) in the rocks. B)

Cool Danio tank !

Does that heater go into the sand though ? if so, any particular reason why ? I always (for some unknown reason perhaps) thought heaters should not touch the sand :dunno:
