Will they get poisoned by my finger nails?

Hello! I put on my nail polish yesterday for photo shoots, and I wondered will my fishies get poisoned when I collect water for tests? (Water changes etc. will be done by my hubby)

Unless the polish is fresh, or you are soaking your hands in the tank for a while there should be no problem, If you want to be sure get some of the latex surgical gloves, clean them real good and wear them when dipping in the water.

i have acrylics on my nails and never have a problem with sticking my hands in the fish tanks. after the nails are dry, i usually let them dry overnight, i wash my hands and nails really good wisth a nail brush. not just for the fish but because my hands are in food and in kids mouths digging out toys that should not be there all day.
