I transported a few of my baby snails to another tank, but when I was trying to unstick them from their transport, I broke the shell of a couple of the.

Their shells were very soft.

They are crawling around fine in their new tank, but their shells are broken. Will the shell grow back?

no but they may continue to grow and eventualy you will never notice a difference. Should they die early look on the bright side the others will do better in the uncrowded conditions.

you'd do better to put them in a tank on their own and really calcify the water... at scraped cuttle fish etc and this will really strengthen their shells up.. the soft shell is a result of the water conditions they have been kept in previously.. plus be careful
