I have 2 breeding kribs in my tank with 6 bleeding heart tetra,1 flame tetra, 4 silver tip tetra a young krib and a dwarf gourami. ops and a red tailed shark
The only ones Im worried about putting a bristlenose in with is the kribs.
Can I put a bristlenose in with kribs??

Just remember always to mention the size of your tank..... This is important, but as far as temperament goes, it's ok.

sry its 190 litre corner tank been up and running a couple months now but I used the filter from my old tank to get it started (in fact filter is still in it till my sis gets my old tank)
The only thing I was worried about was putting a bn in with breeding kribs

IMO.... don't think it's a problem, but let's leave this to the experts......

I would say providing you have enough hiding places for him/her then go for it.

 Na stuff the fry - besides dont the parents protect them then?

A question I would like to ask with regards to this is would the BN be likely to eat any of the eggs which are laid?

Sorry but I'm also interested incase my angels breed one day otherwise I agree with Minxfishy about the hiding places :good:

Lol all posted at the same time.

I would assume most parent would protect, suppose I'm just being awkward yet again

The kribs protect the fry till the male is ready to have more fry then he will in my experience eat the fry.
I have only separated one lot of fry and now am leaving it to nature if they survive they survive . There is lots of hiding places and plants mainly fake and three pieces of bogwood.
I have a influx of snails just now and some green algae forming and son wants a catfish so this was my choice as they are good at eating algae. I dont overfeed cause the fish always come to the top when they see me goign near so dunno whats caused the snail influx or the algae

Well I got my BN's on Tuesday and they cleaned my 35l overnight! They are fab!

Although I have heard that otto's are better and produce less waste but not sure if these are ok for your tank??

If you just want to let nature get on with it I'd get a BN, try to get a slightly bigger one just incase it does get picked on.
