Wild guppies not showing colours

I brought some wild guppies. In water streams they were looking colorful but now they are not showing that bright colors. There are 6 guppies and kept them in white rectangular 50cm x 30cm pot. And added 2-3 floating plants.
I thought it could be because of white pot but im not sure. How can i arrange setup for them comfortable and they will show colours?

put a thin layer of dark gravel on the bottom.
put lots of plants in the container.
give them time to settle in.

They need more plants. Then you need to give them time to settle in
