I'm 2 weeks into a fishless cycle and whilst my readings aren't proving the bacterial are working, yet I appear to have a white slime type substance appearing on everything and I've noticed this bubble looking stuff in small places too just floating there. Plus my water looks cloudy
I'm on day 10 of the cycle after adding ammonia as suggested on another post. My readings are :
ph. 7.2 ish
NO2 0ppm
NO3 0ppm
Ammonia 4ppm (still) (all taken with the api test kit)
Am I counting my chickens too early or should something of started to happen yet?
