Like i said, LAST resort, as tetras can be sensitive to pollutants in their water. Tell your grandma your choices are peas, daphnia, or epsoms salt, hopefully she will go for peas and see them as the most benign. Bring her on here, i'm sure anyone would be glad to help out and verify they have fed peas before with no problem.

Ok. Well to tell you the truth she just doesn't trust people that suggest things to do over the internet. She thinks the stupid people at the lps know more than you guys.

Oh geeze. Lovely. Is there a good LFS near you where you can trust their advice? Or a paticular LPS employee you have found to be knowledgable? I know they do exist, the best way to spot them is ask them about their tanks.

You never eat vegetables? You must be terribly constipated! I mean, you're in danger of all kinds of health problems without veggies in your diet. There are things that your body needs that it can only get from vegetables. I am more worried about you than I am about your fish.

Yes at a chain store this guy has alot of tanks and his really knowledgable and he says a 75g is like a 10g to him. But he only works during the week and I hardly ever get to go there during the week.

No I never eat vegetibles besides bannanas and no I very rarley get constipated.
