numpties get min wage, people with knowlage get a decent wage

most won't stock it because there are products that, suposedly, cycle your tank for you; bacterlifer, ammovec+nitravec, cycle etc all of which make the lfs more profit than selling ammonia would.

I'm sure that in the UK stocking pure ammonia or not has something to do with COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health) act.

I don't know what numpties are... but I can tell you a good 95% (at least) of people that work at fish stores, get minimum wage. Whether they know lots about it or nothing.
