Why Yamato Why?

hello i have a few yamato shrimp in my community tank and lately whenever i go to put my hand in the water at least one makes a beeline for my hand, i'm aware they can't hurt me but it still makes me jump when they start crawling on my hand. why do they do it?

yeah it makes my mates laugh when i'm messing with the tank or cleaning a filter and they here me let out a scream from across the house. i dont like spiders either and have decided its a too many legs issue, but shrimps are pretty just dont want them touching me!
