i recently hatched a few brine shrimps and i had used 1 litre of water and i faced two problems. At first the problem was that many brine shrimps started to get out of the hatching solution and got stuck at the walls of the bottle and were not reaching the water and some also got stuck in the pipe which i had used for aeration. second problem i faced was that after the brine shrimps got hatched they didnt settle down instead they were swimming on the surface of the solution and i was not able to remove or separate them from the solution so please suggest me the solutions to solve these problems?

Use a bright light near the bottle. The artemia will be drawn to the light and you can use a simple siphon made from some air line to remove them from the area where they have all congregated. It is a very old trick but your newly hatched artemia have never heard of it. They fall for it every time.

as i want them to come down so do u suggest me to put the light source near the bottom of the bottle?

If you are siphoning the artemia from the bottom of the bottle, set the bottle on top of a light source. The artemia will move toward the light and be easy to siphon off.

last time i had the problem of siphoning them out because they were moving up on the surface of the water and they were swimming near to the edges so i was not able to separate them thats why it would be better if they are down and different from the unhatched eggs. One more problem i am facing is that many eggs and some salt is getting accumulated at the edges.

Do not worry too much about the shells that accumulate in a ring around your hatchery. It happens in all of them to some degree. You will probably give the hatchery a good cleaning after every few hatches so you can clean it away then.

oh i have had some trouble. i did not notice that i had put the light source very near to the hatchery and now the temperature of my hatchery went over 45 celsius and now not even a single egg got hatched after 36 hours please tell me what to do now?

You only use the light source to harvest the shrimp. I should have said that in the earlier post. It is a way to attract the artemia to one place but, as you say, it can heat the water rather hot so you can't leave things like that.

the use of the light source is it just to attract the shrimps and not to provide light? well now as the water is again around 3o to 35 celsius even now no brine shrimp egg got hatched so please tell me what am i suppose to do now so that those eggs which are there in the water get hatched?

Any cysts that were in the water at far too high a temperature will likely be dead. You will need to add fresh cysts before you will get a hatch.

the room temperature at my place is itself is around 32 Celsius so sir what should i do so that i can achieve optimum temperature after i have placed the light source because after putting the light source the temperature always gets higher.

Leave the light off until just a few minutes before you want to siphon the BBS and turn it back off as soon as you are done. The 32C is quite warm for artemia to start with and higher temperatures should be avoided.

In the brine shrimp hatching video i saw that they said that we have to keep the light on for 24 hours to 36 hours till the time we dont havrest the brine shrimp becuase the brine shrimp need a very good amount of light so am i not suppose to keep it on all the time?

If you want to keep the light on all the time, move it far enough from the hatchery that it will not heat it at all.
