Why Does This "guppy" Fry Look So Weird?

Okay. I have a picture AND a video of the little guy.

The video sucks, but you can clearly see his body shape in it. Watch the whole way through -- he shows up again at the end of the video.

In the picture, he is the fish below all the guppy fry. By the way, how SAFE is that imagehost.com? That's where I uploaded the picture, so I need to make sure it won't send viruses to my computer...?

He starting to look like a platy fry now -- just a thought...

The last slightly orange fry at the bottom of the picture looks a lot like a very young molly fry to me.

The virus issue is a different matter. I will not allow my computer to connect to the internet without a good anti-virus installed on it. They are found anywhere that anyone has ever connected that happens to have a virus. I am sure there are viruses here and everywhere else that I go, so I make sure I have the best virus protection that I can afford and then I don't worry about it too much.

Thanks. He looks like a molly to you? He kind of looks like a platy to me, but that's just my opinion. I will upload some more pics of him, but that's the best one I have so far.

My computer has good virus protection, so like you said, it should be fine, I guess...

It looks like a platy to me the black lines running across its body indicates that it could be a cross between swordtail . well we will know sooner or later lol.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Weird though that it looked EXACTLY like a guppy when it was a baby!

Thank you! Yes, they are fast! That's why half the pictures I took were really blurry!

A sunset platy? Are you sure? He looked exactly like a guppy fry when he was younger: skinny and long.

Now, as you can see, he's fat and short!

Well I am not positive but from my minimum knowledge your guy looks like my three.. So I shall get a snap shot tonight if I can "catch" him and show you so you can compare and decide.. I have molly fry, dalmation platy fry, red wagtail platy fry as well as the sunset platy.. So I will grab pics of all of them.

I just dont have guppy fry.. LOL

Thanks. I have other fry too, it's just I haven't had babies for a while. I just got either a swordtail or guppy fry a couple of days ago, but he's dying because of the stupid ich I can't seem to get rid of!

I hope to save him, he's yellow, and very cute! lol!
